This Privacy Policy explains how Extractor.Plus and its affiliates ("Extractor.Plus", "we", "our", or "us") collect, use, and share information in connection with your use of our websites, services, and applications (collectively referred to as "Services"). Please note that this Privacy Policy does not cover the information that our customers process when using our Services.

We may collect information about users of our Services ("users," "you," or "your") from various sources, such as:

• (3) Information from third-party websites, services, and partners.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you sign up for an Account, we may request your contact details, including your name, company name, address, email address, and phone number. If you refer a friend to our Services, we may also collect your friend's email address to send them a referral or promotional code to join our Services.

Our "Community" feature allows you to post content publicly on our Services. By registering for our Community, you agree that your profile information and the content you post may be viewed and used by other users and third parties beyond our control.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information from you such as your name, email address, phone number, the content and/or attachments in the message you send us, and any other information you choose to provide. We may also receive a confirmation when you open an email from us.

If you add your financial account information, it will be directed to our third-party payment processor.

When you use our Services, we may collect information about your engagement and utilization of our Services, such as processor and memory usage, storage capacity, navigation of our Services, and system-level metrics. We use this data to run the Services, maintain and improve the performance and utilization of the Services, develop new features, protect the security and safety of our Services and customers, and provide customer support. We also use this data to generate aggregate analysis and business intelligence that help us operate, protect, make informed decisions, and report on the performance of our business.

Like most websites, we automatically gather certain information and store it in log files. Additionally, when you use our Services, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. To collect this information, a cookie may be placed on your computer or device when you visit our Services. Cookies contain a small amount of information that enables our web servers to recognize you. We store information collected through cookies, log files, and/or clear gifs to record your preferences. We may also automatically collect information about your use of features of our Services, the functionality of our Services, frequency of visits, and other information related to your interactions with the Services. We may track your use across different websites and services.

If you link our Services to a third-party account, we will receive information about that account, such as your authentication token from the third-party account, to authorize the linking.

We may also receive publicly available information about you from our third-party partners and combine it with data that we have about you.

If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the time of collection. If we collect and use your personal information based on our legitimate interests (or those of any third party), we will clearly explain to you what those interests are.

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We may share your information, including personal information, as follows:

• In an aggregated or anonymized form that does not directly identify you.

5. BROWSER EXTENSIONS

This section applies to our browser extensions, including Mail Extractor. Where it differs from the rest of this policy, this section governs for the extensions.

Data that stays on your device

Our extensions process web page content locally, in your browser, in order to do what you installed them to do. For Mail Extractor, that means reading the text of the page you are on to find email addresses displayed on it.

Everything an extension extracts is written to your browser’s local storage on your own machine. For each email address Mail Extractor saves, it keeps: the address, the page it was found on, the URL you originally queued, the page title, the domain of the address, when it was first found, when the record was last updated, how many times the address has been seen, its classification labels, the name of the batch run it came from, and a sync-state marker.

None of this is transmitted to us. We never receive the addresses you extract, never store them on our servers, and never sell or share them. You can delete all of it at any time from the extension’s settings, or by uninstalling the extension.

What the extensions do send us

Our extensions contact our servers only to check whether a subscription is active and to fetch configuration data. The only information sent is:

• A randomly generated identifier created on your device the first time the extension runs.
• The extension’s identifier and its version number.
• Your browser’s language setting.
• The authentication token issued in response to the above.

That random identifier is not derived from anything about you, your device, or your browsing. It exists so that a subscription can be attached to an installation.

No email address, no page content, no URL, and no browsing history is ever sent to us by an extension.

What the extensions do not do

Our extensions do not include any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party tracker, and they do not report your clicks, scrolls, page views, or device metrics.

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share extension data with third parties. We do not use extension data for advertising or profiling, for creditworthiness or lending decisions, or for any purpose unrelated to the extension’s single stated purpose.

The provisions elsewhere in this policy regarding advertising partners, clickstream data and system-level metrics describe our websites and web services. They do not apply to our browser extensions.

Why an extension may ask for access to all websites

You decide which page to use the extension on, so it cannot know in advance which sites it will need. That is the only reason it asks for access to all sites. The access is used solely to read the page you are on in order to perform the extension’s stated function. Our extensions do not modify pages, do not inject any visible interface into them, and do not read pages you are not looking at — except for pages you explicitly queue yourself.

You can switch an extension off entirely at any time from its settings, without uninstalling it.

Responsible use

Mail Extractor collects addresses that are already published on public web pages. It does not bypass any login, break any access control, or read private data.

How you use those addresses is your responsibility, and it is governed by the law where you and your recipients are located. Sending unsolicited commercial email is restricted or prohibited in many jurisdictions, including under the GDPR in the EEA and the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States. Please make sure you understand your obligations before contacting anyone.

6. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You have certain choices and rights regarding your personal information. You can access, update, correct, or delete your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.

You can also object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict processing of your personal information, or request the portability of your personal information. If we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
